20% MORE DURABLE. We test to measure our aggregates durability. Hard rock lasts longer. We also measure the weight of our rock to test the density. The denser the stone, the more durable it is. Rogers Group rock is consistently tested and proven to be 20% more durable than our competitors.
resistence to freeze-thaw
25% MORE RESISTANT TO FREEZE/THAW We test the effects of routine freeze thaw cycles. Indiana can have many freeze/thaw cycles over the course of the spring/fall/winter seasons. Roger Group rock is 25% more resistant to Freeze/Thaw than crushed aggregate from other local quarries.
absorbancy
65% LESS ABSORBENT. High absorption means water is able to be stored in the aggregate and this affects the ability to remain in tact during freezing and thawing cycles.
